A clear face matters more than visible feet
A standing full-length photo is not mandatory. Clear upper-body, cropped and seated photos can be eligible under the visible-photo policy. Choose an image with a clear face and one unambiguous main person. A confusing group composition may need a clearer photo.
The visible clothing area matters to the result you can review. If your photo stops at the waist, an outfit preview should stay within that crop. It should not add legs, extend the canvas or move the camera to show a skirt or shoes that were outside the image.
What the edit should preserve
The intended boundaries are the person’s identity, facial geometry, visible body shape, pose, framing and setting. Background people should remain untouched. Clothing, accessories and explicitly chosen makeup are the styling changes; a preview is not permission to reshape the person.
Optional makeup means cosmetic colours or finish, not a different face, age or skin tone. AI edits can still be imperfect. Review the face, hands, garment details and background in every result rather than assuming that any generated preview is accurate.
Compare before you decide
Start from a chosen outfit or inspiration, use a suitable photo and review the result against the original. Saved-result comparison and reopening controls vary by release. Creating a fresh preview is different from reopening an existing result; check the app’s Style Credit information before generating again.
A visual preview does not establish exact garment fit, fabric drape, body measurements or what a retailer’s item will look like in person. The campaign portraits on this website are separately prepared illustrations, not evidence of app-generated results or guaranteed identity preservation.
A few good-to-knows.
Can I try an outfit using a half-body photo?
Clear cropped and upper-body photos are eligible under the visible-photo policy. The edit should stay within the original photo boundary; suitability checks still apply.
Does virtual try-on guarantee the right size?
No. This is a styling preview, not a size measurement or a guarantee of physical fit. Check the seller’s sizing and product information before purchasing.
